Eight Glasses a Day Keeps the Doctor Away

Hydration

There are so many wonderful reasons to keep your body hydrated and all of these reasons are great to know.

Firstly, properly hydrating, (this means drinking 8-10 glasses of water a day) can keep you feeling full longer, so it can help with weight loss.

Secondly, water has the ability to detox your body of free radicals and toxins in your body. Staying hydrated is also very helpful for and proven to help relieve headaches. Digestive health is something that, as we age, becomes a bit of a problem.

Drinking a healthy amount of a water daily can help things keep flowing, as usual. Not only does water help in those cases above but did you know that water can also keep your skin glowing, your muscles and joints lubricated and is a great alternative treatment for arthritis, cramping and other muscle and joint related problems? In order to keep your body healthy and working at its best, be sure to get 8 glasses a day!
